QUILTS2HEAL – UVALDE QUILT PROJECT

As Quilts2Heal approaches its tenth anniversary of its founding in Connecticut, immediately after the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy in 2012, our volunteers are responding to create quilts to comfort those affected in Uvalde.

Shortly after the shooting of May 24, 2022, at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas Quilts2Heal volunteers decided to create personalized quilts for the families of each of the 19 children and two educators killed that day.

Over 70 volunteers are involved with designing these quilts and supporting this project with donated funds, and donated themed/novelty fabrics to honor the hobbies, activities and dreams and hopes of these fourth-grade children.

Many individuals are providing financial support by sponsoring individual quilts. For more information on how you can help, please contact Quilts2Heal.org or quilts2heal@comcast.net
